I'm Darris Howe, a photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. After retiring from higher education I now have more time to travel and capture images of this amazing world.

Finding the extraordinary in everyday places and celebrating our wonderful planet.

I try to go on 3-5 trips a year. Of these two are usually international and majority of the others are strictly photography trips. Of course when I am not traveling I have the great good fortune of living in Utah which is a photography paradise. You can surmise I take a lot of pictures every year. What I love almost as much as the picture-taking itself is the image processing afterwards. I love the creativity that comes with this.

I also love sharing my work. A major reason I set up this website was to display my work and fulfill requests from those who wished to purchase images. Most saw my work on Facebook and often asked if I had a gallery or site where they could see more. If you do see something you would like to purchase just contact me and I can give you the price depending on the size and finish you want. Thanks for looking.
